My Dad is also undertaking the Project 365 Challenge, and we were talking this morning about what it's like to take pictures every day. He said that he is more aware of time passing when he takes pictures everyday. I apparently am less so, since I have a more days missing for the last two and a half weeks than I thought. I'm posting what I have, and will do my best to be more aware this week.

Where does the time go? The last two weeks have flown by, and one of them is simply a blur of flu and fevers and Dr's visits and medicine.
I know there are not 14 images here. This is what I do have. There are stories behind some of them. Feel free to ask me, I'm happy to share.

My first Project 365 post. I'm kind of excited. I will confess that I have no picture for Jan 3. It was a Saturday, and I had a whole bunch of friends over for dinner. I guess I was having so much fun I forgot to get my camera out. I'm okay with that! I'll add an extra picture from last night.
Now, some of these pictures are pretty, and some are not. Not all of them are going to be 'artistic' or 'creative' or even very well composed or even in focus. And one of them is of me, but I didn't take it! Yes, I'm making the rules up as I go along. I think if I have the expectation of taking a perfect picture every day, I'm simply going to fail. So here they are. Seven pictures from the last 7 days.

I am doing it. I have always declined to take up the challenge because I never believed I could meet it. And honestly, I still don't, but I'm going to do it anyway. And you can follow along if you want.
A Project 365. Picking up my camera everyday for a year. Every day. Because I need to.
My plan right now is to post the pictures here once a week. 7 pictures, one a day, posted every week, probably on Wednesday or Thursday.
You are welcome to follow along every week, or simply pop in whenever you think of it to see how it's going.
It will start Jan 1, 2015, three weeks today. If you feel like joining the challenge, please let me know, I'd love to do this with friends.
