Do you ever think about what you think about? Our thoughts may be more important than we realize. They direct our actions, our moods, our emotions. I'm working on consciously thinking more on things that are good and true and holy and honorable. Things that are pure and lovely and gracious and kind and excellent. Phil 4:8. If you look for things of beauty and wonder in your every day life, that is what you will find.

Spring blossoms.
Spring is here. Officially. And how do I know? Our peach tree is full of blossoms. The day I wake up, open the blinds, and see blossoms on the peach tree is the day I consider the first day of spring. I'm always amazed at how fast the tree fills with the beautiful pink blossoms, each a promise of a sweet, juicy fruit. The blossoms appear long before the green leaves start appearing, and so the branches are bare but for the bursts of color that paint the starkness with pink.
